Outdoor Emergency Care
The OEC Technician certification provides our patrollers the education necessary to deliver emergency medical care to those in need. This certification, similiar to an EMT-B, is not limited to a ski area environment but affords application in many emergency situations.

Avalanche Certification
Hesperus Patrollers in good standing are eligible for avalanche training and certification
